In Namche Now!

Were in Namche, the center of the Khumbu area and a very beautiful village high in the Himalaya. We arrived yesterday and will be staying another day to acclimitize. Snowed quite hard yesterday night, but today is clear and sunny. Very nice. Everyone is doing great. Laurie and Robin are along on the trek with us and Johnny and Brian are getting more excited as today is really our first view of Everest. Still a ways to go! Flying in Tomorrow Morning

Wish for good weather as there have been a lot of delays getting into Lukla, the small airstrip we have to land at in the Khumbu region. Many groups have been delayed over 3 and 4 days. We are hopeing all goes well. Although the forecast is for some rain tomorrow. That will be the beginning of the adventure. Brian and Johnny are flying into Kathmandu in about an hour. Lots to do tonight to get ready to go still. From Kathmandu.

In Kathmandu getting ready to head out to the mountain. Everything is packed and ready to go. Lots of weather delays fo lots of teams this spring on the flights to Lukla. We are planning to fly in on the 8th. Yahoo!
